Talks

Members of the Golden Oriole Study Group are very happy to give talks to clubs and societies about their work. The presentation outlines the work of the group investigating the history, habitat, food, behaviour and spread of the oriole in the UK. It also deals with migration and wintering, reasons for the birds' reliance on commercial poplars. The final part of the presentation touches on other species of orioles in the world, both Oriolidae and the Icteridae.

During the interval, a stunning video of birds at the nest, with song and calls, will be played.

Proceeds from the talk go into the funds of the Golden Oriole Group to help finance its continuing research.
